Barritz France - What's the draw "Good Waves and Food"

So what's it like. Well during the summer months - June, July and August, the beach is packed. The surf can get to 6-8 Ft real fast, and the water is warm. The nights are long, so you can surf till 9PM than have a great seafood dinner at a cafe on the board walk, and watch the people walking. The French have it figured out - life is to short not to enjoy food, life and love all those around you. So "Barritz" and the cities to the south in Spain are full of great food, great waves and good people. Go and enjoy - The Food Surfer.

So we did some very interesting food for dinner Sunday evening. A lot of Spanish food and good wine.

Great Resturant - Canoe on the river

Monday September 21, 2009 - The Great Flood

The Brazed Beef "Braizzed Beef" as my wife pointed out was great - I will get it posted so all can use. The great flood of 2009 has taken the garden, and it's has produced no waves, but I am sure there are plenty of Cottonmouth snakes enjoing the river in our back yard.

We have discover a new French recipe for "Brazed Beef". Started this morning, with the prep and will have ready this evening......What a great way to use up the red wine we had left over. Checked with my buddies in Palos Verdes CA today, the Bay was starting to set-up not huge but nice...Good to have friends surfing the world still.
